Davao City Commended as Top Performing LGU in Real Property Tax Collection

The Office of the City Treasurer, headed by Atty. Lawrence D. Bantiding received a recognition plaque and certificate of award from the Region XI Office of the Department of Finance-Bureau of Local Government Finance (DOF-BLGF) headed by Dir. Butch Lapiña, as “Top Performing Local Government Unit (LGU) in Real Property Tax Collection.”

The City Government collected Php 2,260,636,000 or 190.95 % Real Property Tax collection efficiency, exceeding its target collection of Php 1,183,883,000 for year 2020.

The DOF-BLGF also handed recognition plaques to the City Assessor’s Office and Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte “for their support to the program.”
